New Release: #028 Passionfruit Sour

REFRESHING • TART • JUICY • BRIGHT

#028 Passionfruit Sour - We like passionfruit because it is a fruit after our own heart – thrives in temperate climates, likes to be watered regularly, peaks during summer, considered exotic, and is generally found to be sweet, (but can be a bit sour at times). It also goes damn well in a kettle sour. The flavours and acidity of the fruit work really well in a sour beer and that is why we’re doing it again!

If you have been drinking with us for a while, you may have tried our “Purple is a Fruit” Sour Grum made as a one off keg for Slowbeer (which was really good), or it is more likely you would have had our limited release #019 from a couple of years ago. If all this is news to you, welcome! We’d like to introduce you to our #028 Passionfruit Sour, our refreshingly tart, juicy and vibrant Spring release. We have used bucket loads (literally) of passionfruit juice and some fruity hops like Nelson Sauvin and Citra to create a crowd pleasing quencher, perfect for your next picnic or BBQ.
